2010: The 30th Anniversary
Milwaukee Black & Blue RFC is a Division 3 men's rugby club in Milwaukee, Wis. The club was founded in the fall of 1980 by several graduates of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and University of Wisconsin-Madison. The first match was played in Oconomowoc, Wis., against the Green Bay Celtics, and was followed by a post-match party - and a tradition was born.
Throughout the past 30 years, Black & Blue has won several state championships, qualified for the Midwest Championships, and won tournaments in Wisconsin, Illinois and Georgia. We have had home pitches on the north, south and east sides of Milwaukee, and our current roster includes players from both Milwaukee and Waukesha counties.
Dedicated to the principles of sportsmanship, camaraderie and limited politics, Black & Blue always welcomes new players at any level.
